On Saturday August 3rd Dave Gallant of COLORADO CUB was again privileged to provide a short presentation to the Delta Colorado EAA Chapter #1373, this time on rapid production techniques useful for experimental aircraft components.
This discussion was the second in a series exploring design methodologies allowing for quicker realization of complex components and was entitled QUICK TIPS: RAPID PART PRODUCTION for the HOMEBUILDER
During the meeting we covered various machining technologies useful for experimental aircraft designers, then utilized two different online machining providers where we spec'd and quoted custom aircraft parts for production in real time during the meeting.
I continue to be struck by the large enthusiastic membership in attendance at the EAA #1373 Chapter , and it was a true honor again to present to such an accomplished group of aviation enthusiasts.
